1. About these terms
These terms apply to purchases of ConflictMeter downloadable Country Intelligence Reports and other digital products sold through this website. They should be read together with the product description, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.
2. The digital product
Each Country Intelligence Report is supplied as a PDF digital download. The relevant product description states the country, snapshot/model context and principal analytical contents. A standard PDF reader and an internet connection capable of downloading the file are required.
3. Price and payment
The total price payable is the amount shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes or charges shown there. Payment must be made using a payment method offered at checkout.
4. Delivery
Once the order is successfully completed, WooCommerce grants access to the downloadable file. If you cannot access the file after a completed purchase, contact us through the Contact page.
5. Immediate digital supply and cancellation
Because the report is digital content supplied by immediate download, checkout asks you to expressly consent to supply beginning immediately and to acknowledge that your statutory 14-day cancellation right will be lost once supply begins. Your consent/acknowledgement is recorded with the order and should also be included in the order confirmation.
6. Refunds and statutory rights
Our Refund and Returns Policy explains how we handle digital-content refunds and access problems. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including statutory rights relating to digital content that is faulty or not as described.
7. Report date and future updates
Each report is tied to the snapshot/model version stated in the document. Unless the product description expressly states otherwise, purchasing one report does not include future editions or automatic replacements when ConflictMeter data later changes.
8. Licence and permitted use
Unless a separate licence says otherwise, a purchased report is licensed to one purchaser for personal or internal professional use. You may quote reasonable extracts with attribution. You may not redistribute, resell, republish or make the complete report available to others. Team, client-facing, redistribution, API or broader organisational use may require separate organisational licensing.
9. Nature of ConflictMeter analysis
ConflictMeter is an analytical index of conflict-associated conditions. It is not a probability forecast and does not guarantee that violence, unrest or civil conflict will or will not occur. Reports are provided for informational and analytical use and are not legal, financial, investment, insurance or security advice.
10. Intellectual property
ConflictMeter report text, presentation, original analysis, charts and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights, subject to any separate rights and licence terms attaching to underlying third-party source data.
